The staff members of the Columbiana County Board of MR/DD represent many professions,
including, but not limited to instructors, assistants, bus drivers, and therapists. Many of our
dedicated staff members must meet not only the certification and registration standards set by
the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and/or the Ohio
Department of Education, but each professional must also meet specific standards in his/her
chosen field.
Employees are members of the Ohio Public Employees Retirement Systemor the State Teachers
Retirement System. In addition to retirement benefits, full-time employees are offered benefits,
which include health, vision, dental and life insurance.
